Usage of ⟿ and the rest of U+27F5U+27FF

[edit]

This Unicode Consortium character code chart for the Supplemental Arrows-A character block (U+27F0U+27FF) includes the following preamble to that block's “Long arrows” section (U+27F5U+27FF).

  • The long arrows are used for mapping whereas the short forms would be used in limits. They are also needed for MathML to complete mapping to the AMSA sets.

MathML = Mathematical Markup Language — But I don't know what "the AMSA sets" are, and nor do I understand this sort of thing. Does it mean anything to you, Equinox? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 15:34, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
