@Eirikr, 荒巻モロゾフ Could I request that you review this entry? —Suzukaze-c (talk) 06:00, 2 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • @Suzukaze-c: Formatting looks good, aside from the missing first sense.
Beyond that, though, I'm not sure this is lexical. See lack of any entry at Kotobank or Weblio or Jim Breen's WWWJDIC. Also missing from my dead-tree SMK4 copy (my SMK5 isn't to hand at the moment).
I think the basic construction is [OBJECT]+[VERB in 連用形], with quite a bit of flexibility in the two, resulting in a phrasal construction that is not a lexical item. By way of comparison, see also google:"花吹き" (“flower-blowing”) or google:"葉散らし" (“leaf-scattering”) or google:"リンゴ食い" (“apple-eating”) or google:"小屋作り" (“shed-building”), and so on and so forth. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 05:27, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
SoP-ness: True. But according to [1] (the first Google result), it's especially used to refer to the cherry blossom season (which I didn't add to the entry), and might not have been used like this previously (although it is fairly straightforward as you mention). —Suzukaze-c (talk) 06:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
