みたく variation on みたいに[edit]

Does this ever manifest as みたい? Reading your usage notes, it sounds like this only appears as みたく, in which case it should go in the みたく entry, no?
For that matter, it looks like みたく needs a fix -- that isn't an adjective, but rather an adverb... ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 23:17, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not sure! If so, I wouldn't oppose removing that section and noting みたく in Usage notes. How do we treat defective terms? There is also ちがい.
- As for the みたく entry: I suspect it is because
