Taiwanese Hokkien[edit]

@Justinrleung Just so you know, here's where I got the pronunciation from: [1] (0:09). It sounds like sen-pái to me, but it's of course possible that there are multiple Japanese-derived pronunciations in Taiwan. The dog2 (talk) 01:12, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@The dog2: 1) I think we should treat [ɛn] as ian. In Taiwanese, ian is often pronounced as [ɛn], so it should be written as ian. 2) It seems like the person is kind of half-stuttering with this word, so I don't think it's necessarily reliable. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 05:15, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
