Language[edit]

Isn't this Mandarin? 24.29.228.33 06:18, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

It may be, but it is also Japanese, too. Bendono 13:16, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

No. It's Chinese. Mandarin is one manner in which it is read aloud and is transcribed using tonal pinyin. — LlywelynII 02:10, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

Khitan[edit]

No idea why some joker added that, but please keep it removed. The Khitan language form of their own name was 巾 with a 人 under each side, as seen at Omniglot. Its pronunciation also did not end with an -i or -y; that was a Turkic modification. — LlywelynII 02:10, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
