- In this compound, 奏 means "to play (a musical instrument)," the phrase literally means "single playing (of an instrument)." -- A-cai 10:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
OK, the wording should probably be changed to specify that the term can't be used to refer to a solo that is sung (as it says now "music," it could be assumed that this term would apply equally to an instrumental or vocal solo). 24.93.170.200 11:48, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
