Character choice

@Justinrleung Just wondering, why did you pick the character 粘? From what I have seen, 尖米圓 is the much more common way of writing it, and it kind of makes sense given that the two ends are pointed. The dog2 (talk) 14:12, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Actually, it might be disputed. I think I mostly followed 潮·普双言语词典, which writes it as 籼米丸 and explains it to be 用有漏孔的特制木板(做籼米丸的工具)把和好的半熟米粉团轧成两头尖的一种食品，一般汆着吃，是潮汕一带的风味小吃. Other sources seem to point to the pointed ends, such as 揭阳方言民俗图典, which writes it as 尖米丸 and explains it to be 侧重于说明食品的形状是两头尖的. 潮州方言詞滙 also writes it as 尖米丸 and explains it to be 米粉做的兩頭尖短條狀食品. @RcAlex36 What do you think? — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 18:41, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
