@Rua Hey, when you created this page you noted in a comment in the source code of the page that our templates can't currently handle this word's inflection. Now I don't see why and added a generic table which seems to account for the attested forms and produces nothing unexpected, but am I overlooking something? (Perhaps the neuter nom/acc strong singular form niui should be niwi?) โ€” Mnemosientje (t ยท c) 16:50, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's exactly it, the u~w alternation. โ€”Rua (mew) 16:54, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, did a quick fix. โ€” Mnemosientje (t ยท c) 17:06, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In principle this happens to any stem ending in -Vuj-. Maybe it should be coded that way as a rule. โ€”Rua (mew) 17:30, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm honestly not sure if there are other similar cases, looking at [1]. Perhaps the ones in -tojis may have -towi, being from ๐„๐Œฐ๐Œฟ๐Œพ๐Œฐ๐Œฝ (taujan)? โ€” Mnemosientje (t ยท c) 17:45, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(Oh wow, I just noticed the template actually can handle it just by using nomsg= together with a second argument specifying the alternating stem, rendering my earlier quick fix unnecessary) โ€” Mnemosientje (t ยท c) 17:57, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
