@Atitarev Most verbs in -нуть are perfective but there are some that are imperfective, like виснуть, крепнуть, слизнуть, волгнуть. Are these verbs non-semelfactives? (Are all verbs in -нуть semelfactive?) Benwing2 (talk) 01:21, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not all these verbs are perfective and not all perfective verbs in this group are semelfactive, they usually are. слизнуть is perfective. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:55, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Imperfective verbs can't be semelfactive.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:57, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Looks like there are two different слизнуть verbs (per Zaliznyak), imperfective сли́знуть and perfective слизну́ть. Benwing2 (talk) 03:58, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes, "сли́знуть" is an old word meaning "to get covered with slime", imperfective and (therefore) not semelfactive. "слизну́ть" means "to lick off" (completely). --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 04:39, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
