Both my dictionary and this site say that Dauer does not have a plural. However, there is also de:Dauern. Can a native speaker please confirm this one way or the other? SpinningSpark 12:10, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'm a fluent nonnative speaker, and it didn't take me long to find these instances of Dauern: [1], [2], [3]. It definitely has a plural, though Duden says the plural belongs only to "Fachsprache" (technical language). I don't know about that, but Dauer has two meanings at de-wikt, (1) duration and (2) permanence. The first sense is countable, but the second may well not be. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 12:23, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

- Yeah, that's why I looked for it with an adjective, "längeren Dauern". If you're really withdrawing the RFD, could you take the tag off the top of the entry please? —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 16:25, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
