Abkhaz translation[edit]
Recently, several editors have reverted my edit to this page which added a translation of the song to Abkhaz. As a speaker of Abkhaz, I insist that the translation of "Адуынеиҳәынҭқарра" is somewhat correct (not mine originally), however the more accurate translation would be "Адунеидевиз", despite the fact that no documents exist online with this title. The word Адунеидевиз is a fusion of Адунеи + Адевиз, meaning "internationale anthem" or something of the sort. Учхљёная (talk) 14:25, 17 September 2018 (UTC).

- @Surjection: Unfortunately, no. I believe I got it from another speaker in-person who worked on an independent translation(?). The second translation can be easily researched as its components and verified with mostly anyone who knows the language tho. Учхљёная (talk) 14:31, 17 September 2018 (UTC).

- @Surjection: I suppose so, at least until they make it public. I haven't been able to find an online version of a translation of the song, but until then, I insist the second translation is in use and shouldn't be discounted. Учхљёная (talk) 14:34, 17 September 2018 (UTC).
- Again, if the only source is the anecdotal evidence of an editor (who already added several mistaken translations into this entry, but that is partially beside the point), there isn't much of a reason to rely on that alone when it comes to a translation. - @Surjection: Very well then. I suppose the least you can do is unlock the page (block me from it if you choose) so that other editors may add "more reliable" translations. It is intended to be the international anthem, so why not allow for translations into a variety of languages? Учхљёная (talk) 14:40, 17 September 2018 (UTC).
- The protect would expire either way, but I will be removing it. Blocking from a specific page only is not possible, but you can just choose to not edit it yourself. - I doubt you'd know enough Kurdish, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Polish, Serbo-Croatian, Rusyn, Armenian, Malayalam, Punjabi, Hindi, Greek, Gothic (???), Breton and Gujarati to be sure enough of some of your earlier translation attempts. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 14:52, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
