Fraser's magazine

[edit]

In Charles Dickens & the Mid-Victorian Press, 1850-1870 (Drew, MacKenzie and Winyard: Legend, 2013), Fraser's Magazine is referred to as "Fraser's Maga (1830-1862)". I think this is an error, as Maginn was a major contributor to both Blackwood's and the effective editor of Fraser's, while a number of sources are capable of being read the wrong way - if one beleived the incorrect identification - they make more sense with the usual usage.
