Is this a true English prefix? Mglovesfun (talk) 23:08, 10 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's used as one in place names. Have it deleted if you want, I don't care much. Skyler13 (talk)
I don't 'want' to delete it more than I want to delete any potentially valid entry. Depends on whether such terms are loanwords from another language; for example if Minnesota is Minne- +‎ sota or Minne- +‎ Sota, what is sota/Sota? Mglovesfun (talk) 23:16, 10 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
From the entry on Minnesota: From Siouan mni (water) + sota (hazy, smokey, turbid): "cloudy water." However, as I think about it more, I come to disagree with myself and start to rethink the validity of considering it a prefix... Skyler13 00:41, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
