Where is the Finnish / Sami word "Pallas". It is basically "a flat thing". "Ruijan Pallas" is an Arctic Ocean flat fish aka "Halibut". And "Pallas Tunturi" is a mountain with particularly flat top.

father of Pallas Athena

The entry had this as one of the definitions: "The father of Pallas Athena." There was no citation, and this doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Her father would be Zeus. Zeus has a large number of epithets (the WP article "Zeus" lists a bunch of them), but Pallas doesn't seem to have been one of them.--2603:8000:7A01:6E67:F1DB:622E:E61C:EEC5 03:03, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
