This is supposed to be an English language dictionary, so why are Irish words included? It seems off topic to me. (PaulBustion87 (talk) 18:26, 24 March 2015 (UTC))Reply

The first two sentences of Wiktionary:Main Page: "Welcome to the English-language Wiktionary, a collaborative project to produce a free-content multilingual dictionary. It aims to describe all words of all languages using definitions and descriptions in English." Renard Migrant (talk) 18:51, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
The Wiktionary motto is "all words in all languages". We have entries for terms in lots of languages, but the definitions, etc. are in English. Irish Wiktionary has pretty much the same range of entries, but the definitions are in Irish. Chuck Entz (talk) 02:03, 25 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
