Declension

[edit]

@Solvyn, @Benwing2: Hi, I couldn't decline this word using regular multiword means. Does it need a manual input? Also: what's the gender? Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 05:16, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't know its gender. The nouns don't seem to be that "tight" of a bond. Solvyn (talk) 05:38, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Solvyn, @Benwing2: Thank you, @Solvyn. I think the declension should be the following:
  1. N. Svatý Vincenc a Grenadiny
  2. G. Svatého Vincence a Grenadin
  3. D. Svatému Vincenci a Grenadinám
  4. A. Svatý Vincenc a Grenadiny
  5. V. Svatý Vincenci a Grenadiny
  6. L. Svatém Vincenci a Grenadinách
  7. I. Svatým Vincencem a Grenadinami

@Atitarev Let me see what I can do; I did some work on the Russian module specifically for this term (or rather its equivalent in Russian). The problem here is that Svatý Vincenc is declined in the singular while Grenadiny is declined in the plural. I think the answer is to support declnumber: (decline as if in the specified number), parallel to the existing support for decllemma: and declgender:. The main question is, is this a singulare tantum or plurale tantum? I am guessing the latter. Benwing2 (talk) 08:40, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: Thanks! This would benefit, in a different module, future Ukrainian and Belarusian equivalent entries. I will make them, if you solution it. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:58, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev Should be working now for Czech. Benwing2 (talk) 13:46, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
