Xianity offensive as of 20th century

Do we have any sources for the offensiveness of the abbreviation "Xianity" as of 20th century? Style guides seem to consistently say that abbreviating Christ with a chi is only appropriate in informal writing, but don't mention anything about it being offensive. 98.162.248.95 21:59, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
