rfv-sense sense 2: Used to be {{stub-gloss}}, but I can't think of any meaning that would translate to this. -- Prince Kassad 18:34, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Our entry for catch lists bekommen as a translation for exactly one sense:
  1. (transitive) To be in time for; to reach in time (especially, in time to leave).
I would love to have dinner but I have to catch a plane.
Does that seem right to you?

Could someone have been thinking of "catch an illness" / "eine Krankheit bekommen"? \Mike 19:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it means to catch a disease. Example added. —Stephen 00:05, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
