Who the heck would ever need the present participle of "birdie" and exactly how am I supposed to know what it is? Anyway, googled them: 16,400 for "birdieing" vs. 581 for "birdying". So "birdieing" wins the covetted spot in the verb template. Keffy 02:57, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Birdie for person[edit]

Isn't birdie used for fan, person keen/fond/enthusiast of doing something? Deduced from the title of this photo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Field-Map_birdie.jpg I couldn't find it at http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/birdie or at http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/birdie_1?q=birdie Thanks. Slang sense[edit]

What does "birdie" mean here?

2013, “Ounces”, performed by Migos:
Trapping and capping, I'm selling the birdie.
