Created in 2008 by a one-edit editor. There's no Wikipedia entry and there do not seem to be any useful citations in Google News Archive or Google Books or even in a general Google search (except for clones of this definition). Now commie poker has recently been added to the WOTD nominations. Can anyone find any credible verification of this term? -- · (talk) 17:40, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
- Tournaments where players start each game with equal chip totals are not uncommon, but I've never heard the term “commie poker”. Perhaps it's too local a regionalism, maybe even specific to a particular poker parlor. ~ Röbin Liönheart (talk) 07:13, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
- I agree, RL. Maybe the term is just specific to a rec room used by 4 guys in Kalamazoo. · (talk) 05:44, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
