DAVilla: The mathematical definition is valid, and I don't think it's very new, even. ("Results 1 - 10 of about 8,070 for complexification + vector"). Amongst these ten: oldest use is from 1957, but I'm unable to access the article in question to get a decent quote from it. \Mike 00:12, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

- Doesn't look that way to me. As to RFV, it's pretty straigh-forward construction and easily verifiable. Is this in the OED or do we actually have to cite it with a big warning label as a potential illiteracy? DAVilla 03:19, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, neither seem to turn up in the North American version of the OED online (the one available online through almost all public libraries in North America, apparently.) Wouldn't this be better listed on WT:-)? At least this one has some inherent intended humor. --Connel MacKenzie 05:16, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
