contrabandar[edit]

This isn't in the RAE or other dictionaries I've checked. Is this simply an error for contrabandear? --EncycloPetey 01:28, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

It would appear so. Contrabandear beats contrabandar 8000:1 in a simple google search. Contrabandar also seems to be Interlingua and Venetian for "smuggle", which further tilts the scales to contrabandear's advantage. Out of the 23 bgc hits for contrabandar only one is from a Spanish -speaking country (an Argentinian government report). Contrabandar also appears in some Portuguese dictionaries. --Hekaheka 03:05, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Copied "Related terms" and "See also" -sections under contrabandear, wrote a new Interlingua section. The Spanish section could be deleted in a week if no defenders show up. --Hekaheka 13:59, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

RFV failed, section removed. —RuakhTALK 23:17, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
