@Dan Polansky: "Needs to be researched" is pretty unprofessional for a usage note. Do you think you can try to describe in detail what does and doesn't fall under this term? —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 02:16, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

The entry contains examples on an image, and lollipop as counterexample of my idiolect. As for what falls under this term, that really requires research: in my idiolect, only Christmas cukroví is cukroví, but I must not document my idiolect but rather the broad Czech language. SSJC that I now added as a link to the entry defines cukroví as "cukrářské výrobky, pečivo i bonbóny". That is a most curious definition to me: 1) I do not rank bonbóny as cukroví; 2) unless the adjective cukrářské is intended to modify pečivo, it makes no sense at all since pečivo includes all sorts of breads, which are not cukroví by any stretch. Maybe what they meant was "cukrářské výrobky, ať již pečivo či bonbóny". Still, to me, most sweets sold in a cake shop are not cukroví. --Dan Polansky (talk) 07:44, 26 January 2019 (UTC)

@Dan Polansky: I do acknowledge that more research is necessary, and as I said, it currently looks quite unprofessional. More importantly, it fails our readers (like me) who are curious about the term. Perhaps rather than a dictionary, you could use bakery websites and Google Images to help determine what is most frequently meant. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 17:19, 26 January 2019 (UTC)

I am not sure whether it looks professional but it is honest and prevents possible misunderstanding on part of a reader who is not a Czech speaker. I would say it looks much more professional than all those conspicuous request boxes that Wiktionary is littered with. --Dan Polansky (talk) 17:50, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
