I've not provided cites for the blood-clot definition as it fills most of the books, this word seems to exist in other European languages, presumably just the transliteration for the Greek. Not sure about the last definition, but it seemed the neatest way to fit the last three cites in, there are probably a few more cites to be found if someone wants to go searching. I'd particularly like to know more about the Venus school mistress book, I failed miserably to date and attribute that edition (which must be later than the original 1788 edition if the prefix mentions an 1828 invention).
