Finn is first an Irish name. Secondary to that it may be considered an person from Finland. If you notice however, there is only one "n" in Finland, so why is it not Fin is a person from Finland?
- Probably because it is not realistic to expect a lot of logic in natural languages, especially in English, which is a Germanic language written in a Romanic way. Polyglot 15:22, 28 Jul 2004 (UTC)
