Talk:flannel

Informally, flannel also means 'nonsense; humbug; empty talk' as cited in http://dictionary.reference.com. I heard this used today, in referring to a speech by a politician about 'believing in British values', described as 'typical policians' flannel'. — This unsigned comment was added by 194.60.106.5 (talk) at 13:58, 26 September 2007.
