WHARFEGELT and SANDGELT thanks to a reprint of the book: Calais Under English Rule[edit]

Reckon rediscovered two (somehow?)long lost words. Special times we are all living in.

Proto-Germanic verbal form[edit]

The Proto-Germanic verbal form should contain the final *ą, but doesn't in the sources listed. Is there a reason for this? For me, it appears that the *-jan suffix (which appears to be the denominative suffix from Proto-West Germanic *-jan) should be linked as Proto-Germanic *-janą, its etymological source. Seems like a small oversight, but I figured I would see if there were cause to leave it. ThaesOfereode (talk) 17:11, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
