SOP. The only idiomatic definition, to "succeed after a lengthy attempt", should be moved to get. I also question the "after a lengthy attempt", it just means "to succeed", and can be used in "get somewhere", "get nowhere", etc. Benwing2 (talk) 00:03, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
