@Sgconlaw: Re diff: I think we might be better off not using the reference altogether then. Mentioning the infinitive clutters up the etymology for no good reason; γνώμων (gnṓmōn) is no closer to γιγνώσκειν (gignṓskein) than it is to γιγνώσκω (gignṓskō). We only need to mention the lemma, which is the first person present indicative here at Wiktionary, as in all Ancient Greek dictionaries. Per utramque cavernam 13:51, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
