The pronunciation doesn't make any sense.
Would someone who actually calls it that please supply? Also, note region(s) in which the term is used. Personally, I've never heard it called that, even on national TV programs about the stuff.
Pronunciation has been fixed. Still like to know about regions though.
- The pronunciation here now looks fine to me. Is this a US usage? British spelling would be "grey tape" if it goes by that name. In Australia we call it "gaffer tape" rather than the "gaff tape" or "gaffer's tape" which I see here. I think we also call it "duct tape" but I'm not sure. — Hippietrail 06:17, 18 Apr 2004 (UTC)
