suppression of expected -n[edit]

might be worth mentioning that this is sometimes used before a vowel without being changed into the expected helluvan .... "oh i have a helluva appetite but i dont like melted cheese", and so on. Rare, but certainly much more common than "a appetite" and similar phrases in other contexts. Soap 12:14, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
