Only the two quoted compounds are really very common, but you'll find numerous examples on the web of Küchenjura and the like. So I think it's justified to call it a prefix.Kolmiel (talk) 02:28, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization[edit]

I moved this to lowercase "küchen-" because it does appear in (uncapitalized) adjectives, e.g. (from bgc): "küchendeutsche Übersetzungen durchaus nicht zu dulden", "Im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert ... hielt man die französische oder küchenlateinische Ambition für unentbehrlich", etc. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 13:18, 12 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
