Polish pieluszka means diaper and kąpiel means bath, so how did they come up with this word? Is it a portmanteau or is the common element /piel/ something to do with wetness? Slavic languages are not my thing so I can't piece it out on my own. Soap (talk) 18:59, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
