non-kink definition for "littlespace"

[edit]

As of 15 January 2023, this definition is tagged as BDSM and only specifies ageplay.

As much as I don't like Urban Dictionary, it is also an open source wiki-type dictionary which includes many non- or anti-sexual definitions for "littlespace", as well as there existing sites like littlespaceonline.

Does the BDSM tag imply the definition is always or even usually BDSM? & Does the ageplay definition only having kink-related quotations imply it is primarily a sexual thing? UpbeatDiamond (talk) 23:03, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

It appears there were edits before to add a definition... but they overwrote the kink definition, and used improper formatting.
Perhaps we can have both definitions on there together?
  1. (neologism) The state of mind a little enters when regressing, often as a coping mechanism.

Ive added the sense you wrote. To me they look similar enough that I think they could be combined onto one line, but I understand why people might want them kept separate. My edit was just to get things going, ... other people might have different ideas of how to handle this. Hope this helps, Soap 00:03, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

prioritize non-kink definition

[edit]

I believe that the non-kink definition should be definition 1, and the kink as def. 2. The term itself, as far as I am aware, was created for the purpose of therapeutic reasons, and the kink definition is in fact logically incorrect and even harmful to use. If it must be on this page, I would at least like it to not take priority over the proper definition. NorMystical (talk) 14:23, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
