Talk:maguk

@Adam bozso I'm not sure I understand your suggestion. What are the two pages that are not correct to have? The goal of this dictionary is to have every word in every language. Panda10 (talk) 15:06, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

@Panda10 I meant that there is a page maga an there is also this page (maguk), but these are the same word just maga is the singular and maguk is the plural form of it. So it's not correct to explain them on two pages. Adam bozso (talk) 15:23, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

@Adam bozso Okay, I still think it's correct to have both maga and maguk with English meaning, pronunciation, hyphenation, explanation, examples, declension, etc. Why would we want to delete all this important information? It can be useful to Hungarian learners or to those users who know very little Hungarian but see/hear this word somewhere and have no idea that it is an inflected form of maga and want to know more about it. @Adam bozso, Panda10 Maybe you mean that the entry for maguk doesn't say that it is a non-lemma form (a derivative of maga). Should we treat them like alattuk, tőlük etc. (which refer to alatta, tőle etc.)? They're not completely analogous, though. Adam78 (talk) 21:56, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

@Panda10 I meant the formatting, like "plural of maga" or something like that, as usual for non-lemma forms, if it's a non-lemma form – which seems to be the actual question. Adam78 (talk) 22:04, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

@Adam78 I wasn't sure how to handle it when I created this. It was a long time ago and policies change over time. Since the English translation (themselves) is a lemma, I decided to make it also a lemma. We can change it to non-lemma. Panda10 (talk) 23:33, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
