Yeah, some people, when they want to sound poetic or fancy, will use a Latin loanword instead of a well-established word. Compare querco (for carvalho), cérulo (for azul), periculoso (for perigoso, although there is a stricter legal sense for this as well). — Ungoliant (falai) 15:08, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
