Talk:moene

As a humble latinist, I'm of the opinion that the plural of the neuter noun 'moene' should be 'moenia' like triste would be tristia or mare 'maria'.

This seems confusing as 'moenia' clearly appears as a plural form to some unstated neuter noun (my suspicion is that it's moene).

Please review whether the nominative, accusative and vocative plurals of moene should be moena.

Thanks for the ping. Moenia is indeed the correct plural and is a plurale tantum to boot. I just checked L&S, who report that the singular moene was used by Ennius (i.e. Old Latin). I will clean it up accordingly. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 02:45, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
