Pain - English word[edit]

These are not different meanings of the word pain, just different examples. And to say that Clinton's quote using pain equates to sacrifice is dubious.--Richardb 11:20, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use of the verb 'to pain' instead of 'to hurt' is ubiquitous in Australian Aborigines. As in, "My stomach pains" (ie I have a stomach ache). - Richardcavell 06:19, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
