Definition Incorrect?

[edit]

I believe that this definition is not entirely correct. I believe a more correct definition would be:

(politics) The practice of attaching clauses unrelated to a bill that hand out money and/or services to the politician's district, used to help retain a marginal seat.

Hyphenation

[edit]

Why does the entry title have a hyphen but the inflection line does not? 71.66.97.228 15:29, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Good spot; fixed. pork barrelling is about as common as this, so I made an entry for it. Thanks, Mglovesfun (talk) 15:36, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
