Another source cites 'quasqui' as pseudo Latin.

webpage which can/may be a reliable source[edit]

I found the web-page: https://www.nytimes.com/1995/02/12/magazine/on-language-upside-the-head.html, but I do not know how to add the source on English Wiktionary. I will be glad if someone use the URL as the source. Thank you. -- Meauk (talk) 10:07, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Here's how to add:
#* {{quote-journal|en|work=[[w:New York Times|New York Times]]|author=William Safire|title=ON LANGUAGE; Upside the Head|url=https://www.nytimes.com/1995/02/12/magazine/on-language-upside-the-head.html|date=12 February 1995|passage=The slanguist Robert L. Chapman (who, as a Funk and Wagnalls editor, coined '''quasquicentennial''' for "125th anniversary" and suggests terquasquicentennial for 175) thinks its origin in Black English was the verb phrase get going, and notes that Black English delights in alliteration and rhyme.}}
Not sure it's a good example or not, though. NameName233 (talk) 13:47, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
