- Also, I don't see how it can mean "unexpectedly". In Australia at least, 'to rock up' is just a casual way to say 'to go or arrive somewhere', e.g. 'I think we'll all rock up to the party at 10pm'. Tooironic 19:13, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
