Etymology[edit]

Sure looks like the English term actually comes from Arabic as a "correction" of Ottoman Turkish. Not sure how you'd format something like that, where one language borrows from another but but akshuallys its pronunciation/formatting of its own word. Happens with Chinese and other loanwords as well. Also seems pretty likely the English term actually comes via French. — LlywelynII 00:54, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
