Swedish "preposition" som is not a prepostion but a use of the pronoun. It often appears to be a preposition since the clause that follows often is shortened, so that only its subject is mentioned (lika stor som jag är > lika stor som jag = as big as I am > as big as I), but in none of the examples of "prepositional" som given in the article it is used without both subject and verb, so there can be no doubt that it is the relative pronoun som in those examples. 85.231.217.206 00:10, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
