Wherefpre is it actually considered obsolete??? A. E. Housman lived in the XXth century and has used it. I would appreciate the opinion/explication of some native speaker and how he finds the spelling without first "A". Bogorm 08:43, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Housman did use them, but most of his poems were written in the 19th century. stedfast is no longer an acceptable spelling in modern English, and hasn't been for a hundred years. Ƿidsiþ 08:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
