@Imetsia: Personally, I'd definitely keep French temps de chien and vie de chien, which sound lexicalised to me. I could create de chien (and I probably will), but I don't think it's used outside of these two phrases.
However, Italian is not French, and it seems da cani has a wider use, so it's your call.
Perhaps WT:JIFFY applies, though? (In other words, was da cani extracted from tempo da cani?) PUC16:42, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
