The OED [2ⁿᵈ Ed.; 1989] lists (deprecated template usage) thro as:

1. an obsolete adjective-cum-adverb: †thro, thra, a.¹ (adv.)
2. an obsolete noun: †thro, thra, n.
3. another obsolete adjective: †thro, a.²
4. an obsolete verb: †thro, v.
5. and, as we more or less have, a 15ᵗʰ–18ᵗʰ-century abbreviation of through: through, prep. and adv.
