Is this term also used to refer to the broader category of monitor lizards? If not, is there any Navajo term for monitor lizard in general? Or are there only specific terms for specific kinds of monitor lizards? ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 19:22, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

tiníléítsoh can refer to the komodo dragon specifically or the monitor lizards in general, but there are also some specific terms, such as tiníléítsoh bíchį́į́h dikʼání (rock monitor), tiníléítsoh noodǫ́zígíí (Nile monitor), séí tiníléítsoh (sand goanna), tiníléítsoh łikizhígíí (perentie), tiníléítsoh bikʼosnézí (desert monitor), tiníléítsoh dootłʼizhígíí (emerald tree monitor), and tiníléítsoh naʼałkǫ́ʼígíí (water monitor). —Stephen (Talk) 19:58, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, Stephen. I've added the monitor lizard sense. Please adjust as appropriate. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 20:05, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
