Seemingly misplaced translations to be checked[edit]

The currently remaining translations to be checked of tire as a verb with etymology 1 (meaning 'to dress or adorn'), namely to Dutch, French, Ido and Italian, all look like they really mean 'to become sleepy or weary'. I'm thus moving them to etymology 2 and leaving them to be checked by someone with proper knowledge of these languages. Splibubay 10:25, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

  • Almost correct. The Italian ones mean "to tire of" (become bored with). Added that meaning. SemperBlotto 10:39, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
