"transsexuality"/"transgenderism" vs "transness"[edit]

@Equinox "Transsexuality" is outdated and "transgenderism" is outright offensive and almost exclusively used by transphobes. (both of which is also mentioned in the usage notes of their respective articles) Using them here is inappropriate. The definition of the first sense was written before transgenderism took on negative connotations. Transness has the advantage of both avoiding those connotations and of making the defintion more concise and readable. WordyAndNerdy (talk) 10:36, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
