I'm not 100% sure about my US/UK appellations. I got the one I call US from http://www273.pair.com/med/unicode/Unicode_transcriptions.html and the one I labelled UK is the way I say it in Australian English using the phoneme symbols on the English SAMPA page here: http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/sampa/english-uni.htm Hippietrail 12:08, 19 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Translations??[edit]

Isn’t the whole translations section rubbish? Unicode is a proper noun, and as such has no translations (or should not have any). It has transliterations, which might be worth mentioning. Otherwise, this would sort of force all other languages that use the term Unicode as is, to have a language section on this page. henne 14:41, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
